Grease Monkey - Sugar Leaf Organic

Grease Monkey

Grease Monkey is an indica-dominant hybrid from Exotic Genetix , This strain saddles the consumer with a lazy, munchie-fueled body buzz that may soften the blow of chronic pain, nausea, and stress. While defined as a hybrid, this Grease Monkey’s deep relaxation will naturally lead some consumers toward sleep, so mind your dosage. Grease Monkey is a cross between the couch-locking indica Gorilla Glue and Exotic’s own hybrid Cookies and Cream. This amazing strain imparts a thick and lazy body stone, while providing some subtle mental stimulation. Grease Monkey also carries the sweet and musky flavor profile that will be familiar to fans of strains in the Girl Scout Cookies family. Grease Monkey’s potency has been measured at between 16% and 30% THC.

Grease Monkey’s buds have a characteristically indica appearance, with dense and solid buds of medium size. The flowers adhere in elongated, conical shapes. The leaves themselves appear pale green and are shot through with hairy, dark orange pistils. Perhaps most impressively, sticky white trichomes cling like frost to the inner and outer surfaces of the buds, accounting for this strain’s trippy effects and making it very difficult to break apart without the help of a grinder. Flowers of Grease Monkey give off an odor that is simultaneously sweet and skunky. The influence of Chemdawg and Sour Diesel — by way of parent strain Gorilla Glue — are clear in the astringent, fuel-like top notes. On closer inspection, a more complex sweetness becomes evident.

Grease Monkey Growing INFO

Grease Monkey Created by Exotic Genetix, isn’t the easiest strain to grow, but it is not impossible. Although it is Indica dominant, it grows like a Sativa. The hardest part is caring for it when it gets tall. You’ll need to practice pruning and possibly top your plants.  Other than that, it’s a hardy plant that is resistant to diseases, molds, and bacterias.

This strain grows well indoors if there is enough space. What isn’t easy (other than the height), is the incredibly dank smell. You’ll want to invest in carbon filters. Outdoors it likes a humid, sunny environment in the 70s or 80s.

Grease Monkey has a relatively short flowering time of only 8 to 9 weeks. If grown well, it can yield as much as 18oz per square meter, making it well worth the effort.

Having the perfect outdoor environment, Grease Monkey can yield up to 21 oz per plant. It flowers in October.

Grease Monkey yields 18oz per square meter indoors and 21oz per plant outdoors.

Originally bred by Exotic Genetix, This strain was created from a cross between Gorilla Glue #4 and Cookies and Cream.

Way too overpowering for me. I felt a kettle anxious, but that is more likely in my head than in the bud. This was not my best choice as I could not keep my feet still after smoking. Great musky smell, very intense high 1/2 joint was toasted be careful with this girl she’ll kick your ass fr

Heavy! I smoke I had to try it. It tastes incredible! Got a massage and a back adjustment and capped the night off with this awesome strain. More sativa head high than I imagined it would be but the indica comes out a little later. This strain has stages.
